Every repair, opener job and new door, with the time it takes

Find what your door is doing. Next to each job is the time a technician usually spends at the house, so you can plan around it. Prices aren't online: yours is written up once we've seen the door itself or your pictures of it.

Nothing goes quiet

Go through what people post about garage door work around here, and the worst stories rarely begin with the door. They start after the first visit: a quote that never came, a part nobody brought, a deposit followed by silence. With us, each step comes with a date and a text, before you pay and after.

About us

The visit

Any trip charge is spelled out during the call, before a truck rolls toward your street, and the same figure is printed on your written price. The total never grows at your door.

After hours

Evenings, Sundays and holidays may cost more. If your call falls in one of those windows, we tell you first, and you choose between now and the next morning.

Deposits on new doors

Each deposit comes with a receipt listing its terms: what it pays for, the date the order goes in and your options if the factory can't fill it. After the factory confirms, you also get its own order number.

Warranty calls

Use the same phone number as always. A reply reaches you by the next business day, along with a visit date in writing, and the technician shows up already knowing your job.

Notes from homeowners around Bonita

“I sent a picture of the broken spring before I even called. The technician phoned when he left his last job, walked in with the right pair and had the door running in about an hour. The price he texted me first was the price on the invoice.”

Diane M.Pelican LandingSpring repair

“Our opener was old and grinding. He gave us two choices on paper, a new gear kit or a new opener, and said plainly the kit would buy us a few more years. We took the kit. Nobody pushed the pricier one.”

Tom and Ruth B.Spanish WellsOpener repair

“Two weeks after they put in new rollers, a text came asking if the door was still quiet. It was. I've had contractors vanish the minute the check cleared, so that text stuck with me.”

Greg S.Bonita BayRoller replacement

“The deposit came with a receipt that spelled out the terms, and a few days later we had the order number from the manufacturer itself. We were out of town for part of it and approved everything by text from the photos.”

Marisol V.Village WalkNew garage door

“A neighbor two doors down gave me their number. After the last storm my door kept reversing, and it turned out the sensor wiring had corroded. Fixed on the same visit, and he pointed out the little light that shows the sensors are lined up.”

Ken L.Bonita BeachSensor repair

“With the factory wait and then the City permit, the whole thing ran longer than I hoped, and that's the only reason for four stars. Every date reached me by text, and the final inspection passed on the first try.”

Garage doors in Bonita Springs, specifically

A City permit for every new door, salt water after the big storms, and plenty of gates. Here's how each one shapes the job.

The City issues the permit

In Bonita Springs, a new garage door always goes through a permit from the City's Community Development Department; the City's FAQ lists exterior door replacements, “including garage doors.” We file on the City's portal, book the inspections and stay with it until the final one passes. The City also warns that it never asks for permit payments by email or wire transfer.

After the water

On September 28, 2022, Hurricane Ian drove 8 to 12 feet of surge above ground into Bonita Beach and Bonita Springs, as the National Hurricane Center documented. Two years later, Helene and Milton sent 3 to 6 feet of surge as far as Bonita Beach. Salt water works slowly: a door can seem fine after a flood and fail weeks later. So once water has been in the garage, we check four things.

The opener
Keep it unplugged until it's been looked at; salt corrodes the motor and its control board.
The safety sensors
Mounted low beside the tracks, they're the first thing under water. Corroded wiring makes the door reverse or refuse to close.
Springs and bearings
Salt left in them turns into rust that shows up months later as a squeal, a sag or a spring that snaps.
The bottom seal
Once it cracks or shrinks, rain, sand and bugs get in under the door.

Around here it's a routine check, and what we find goes to you in writing, with photos.

Before you pick up the phone

You get a text back saying what the problem looks like and which part we'll bring, before anyone drives to your house. A picture of the spring, the cables or the model label on the opener is usually enough to load the right part, so the repair can be finished on the first trip.

Yes, on paper and with every part named, before the technician touches the door. If a repair solves it, that's the price you get; if replacing is the wiser spend, both options get written down and you choose. The work waits for your go-ahead.

Then he tells you on the spot, with the date the part arrives, and the return visit is booked before he leaves your driveway. A photo sent ahead makes that rare, since we match the part before we come.

Before we leave, we agree on a date to check in, and on that date a text comes from us asking how the door is running. Your warranty is filed under your address, so if anything acts up later, one call brings up the whole job.

You get a receipt spelling out its terms: what it pays for, the date the order goes in and your options if the factory can't fill it. Once the factory confirms, we forward the manufacturer's own order number, which you can verify with them yourself, and a changed ship date reaches you by text that same day.

Yes. Calls and texts are answered at any hour, and when a door is jammed open or unsafe, someone heads over to make it secure. Installations and planned repairs run Monday through Saturday, so no new door goes in on a Sunday.
